Waterproof Diaper Changing Pad Liner

I was pleasantly surprised at how large it was. It is also very soft where the baby will lay and not a cold plastic. I am truly a worry wart when changing time comes while shopping. This pad is large enough to cover the baby changing station. I also noticed it is very well constructed. I would highly recommend this changing pad to anyone needing piece of mind when changing your little one. If I could give it more than 5 stars I most definitely would.

It’s comfortable for her, soft for her skin, and not cold like the plastic liners. Whenever she’s made a mess on it, it cleans right up and doesn’t leak through the bottom. The pattern is really cute and the baby on the box is adorable! I recommend it to all my friends and think it’s a must have as a mom!

We Didn’t Invent the Diaper Changing Pad Liner.
We Just Perfected it.

Welcome to the Diaper Changing Game Show. What’s Behind Diaper Flap #1?

FOR THE VIGILANT MOM it’s always a gamble when poopy diapers are involved, but a vigilant mom/dad will be ready for anything. Part of that preparation includes an absorbent, expansive pad to change baby. Our changing pad has a super absorbent layer, using the same material found inside of reusable diapers, to soak up any pesky fluids which make an appearance. How else can you protect your changing table, Grammy’s couch, the backseat of the car, your friend’s couch…need we go on?

OHHH! We Have A DIAPER BLOWOUT! GET OUT OF THE WAY! Sometimes you just need to cut your losses, wrap baby up in something waterproof, and race to the bath tub. You need a BIG baby changing pad to handle that emergency, and we’re the largest. You need a truly absorbent pad, not a pretty quilted pad which is more air than substance. After baby is in the tub, throw the pad in the washer / dryer to clean it as well. No more money wasted on disposable liners, no more worries about emergency bath tub runs.

This is clearly a job for the DaffaDoot Diaper Changing Pad Liner – the Biggest and Best Changing Mat on the market!

Benefits for You & Benefits for Baby

Thank Goodness it’s so large and absorbent. It handles that fountain of excitement from jr., and the nasty diaper blowout where you wrap baby and sprint to the tub. It’s large enough to last through the toddler years, is washable, dryable, and hypoallergenic.

We really did put some thought into our diaper changing pad liner. At the risk of sounding harsh, most liners are no better than a piece of wax paper covered by a paper towel. They aren’t large enough to really offer any protection, they aren’t large enough to accommodate your growing baby past a couple of months, they won’t hold any liquid, and they won’t provide much cushion for baby’s little head and body.

Protection comes in two forms. First, to ensure that anything which oozes out of the diaper doesn’t make its way onto the diaper changing surface (such as Grammy’s couch, the floor of the van, or your friend’s carpet). Second, the mat must be large enough to protect whatever germy surface you are using to change the baby (think “public changing station”). That’s why we made our pad a whopping 20 X 30″. It was the only way to protect you and baby, even as they grow lager, and to get the job done.

About absorbency… inside our pad is a plush and absorbent layer of microfiber. In fact, this is the same absorbent layer used in washable diapers. We conducted a liquid test comparing our liner against the leading liner, and the DaffaDoot liner won “Hands Down!” In fact, the other liner made such a mess we were glad we were only using water! 🙂 Clearly, if you are dealing with a wet mess, you need something absorbent which can handle the job.

Here’s how the DaffaDoot Diaper Changing Liner measures out:

Layer #1: It’s as SOFT AS YOUR BABY’S BOTTOM. Maybe even softer! With its softspun 100% polyester microfleece, the DaffaDoot changing mat is like laying your baby on a cloud. Hypoallergenic, and washable, you will love nestling your little one onto this pad. Did you know that blended fabrics (cotton/polyester, rayon from bamboo fibers etc. can contain formaldehyde resin, which can cause allergenic contact dermatitis? We didn’t want to risk it, so polyester microfleece was the best choice.

Layer #2: It contains the same wonderfully absorbent microfiber layer found inside of washable diapers. It’s deliberately *not* quilted, as this will cause liquid to leech through the back, and is soft and fluffy for baby.

Layer #3: Here is the “secret sauce” which makes our pad waterproof. Inside is a breathable non-toxic environmentally-friendly TPU waterproof layer to protect the surface under baby. TPU is a soft silicone-like substance, which doesn’t contains no harsh chemicals (like pvc) and won’t crack like vinyl. It’s hidden inside the mat, which will protect it from being torn, and holds up well in the laundry.

Layer #4: The outside (bottom) polyester layer is colorful and fun. It protects the TPU layer and excites baby should you want to have them spend some “tummy time” on the mat.
